Start collecting old newspapers long before the overseas move. Do not use them for wrapping varnished objects, non-porous ceramic, glass and metal objects, never use with porcelain.
Wrap fragile items individually and then place them vertically in a box filled with padding.
Inquire at the local supermarket if it is possible to get cardboard boxes.
Ensure the soundness of the boxes, because they will be stacked during transportation.
Do not hesitate to give away, throw away or have a garage sale. An object or a garment that has not been used during the last two years will certainly not be used again.
Preventive measures
Cash, jewelry, contents of safety and other personal property must be in possession of the customer at all times.
If any, you must comply with vaccination and health requirements requested in the new country.
